Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Been a long boring day today, but 2 great films on Channel 5 this afternoon A Knights Tale and the Man in the Iron Mask. Hated Leonardo di Caprio's American accent in the Minthe IM. Will have square eyes after today.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Quite a productive day, recycling out by 8 am. Bed stripped, washed, dried, ironed, aired and back on the bed by 2 o'Clock. Made some delicious bolognese sauce and had it with baked potatoes for lunch and managed to put a few pieces in the jigsaw. Looking forward to Broadchurch tonight, I never saw it the first time round, don't know where I was when it was on.

Parasol up on the patio and Rob is out taking the air. I was attempting to put in a few more pieces of jigsaw, but it's too warm for me. Come into the living room to cool down!

Had a bit of a hiccup with the Asda order. Only received 2 pts of milk instead of 4 and a surfeit of onions (not sure how that happened).

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Phew, it's a scorcher. Laundry on the line, parasol up and we need it this morning. It's too hot for me in the conservatory, have to keep coming into the living room to cool off. Tractors are out everywhere, mowing and turning hay. DIL arrived with four more tups for the field behind the house, must remember to fill up their water tub.

Gosh, what I wouldn't give for a paddle at Caswell!

Had a lovely couple of hours with the little ones but it was too hot.
There's been several fire engines, police cars, police motorcycles and ambulances racing thro the village with their sirens this afternoon-heard that a house had exploded in the next village.I do hope every one will be ok.
