Do you use a teapot?

We don't own one I don't think. We haven't used a teapot for years, we just dunk the teabag into the mugs (we haven't any cups and saucers either). If Her Majesty came to take tea with us, I would get out the best mugs and dunk her teabag in hers.

We prefer Tetley teabags.

We do have a teapot (somewhere) but never use it. I did go through a phase of drinking Orange pekoe tea a few years ago but I'm back onto tea bags now. If the Queen went past my house, I wouldn't even look out of the window let alone make tea for her. Now, if my old mate Trump went past, I would cook him a nice enchilada.

Got several depending what we are making. An infusion one with central cor is good for mint and other leaves. An old brown teapot for everyday use with twinning loose leaf tea. A pretty floral one we get out when we have anyone visiting. And a huge blue enamel one comes out for big gatherings, if all the family is here it comes into its own.

I would need to be tied down if Trump infested our neighbourhood.

Actually when I was a kid the Queen did drop by on our across the way neighbour, her cousin.

I used a teapot and loose tea for years and said, l would never change to teabags!

Then as time passes, you feel like a dinasaur as you reach for the teapot and then have to dispose of the tea leaves!!

In the end, l succumbed and started using tea bags. The teapot lies redundant in the back of the cupboard, somewhere!!

I use china mugs and got rid of the china cups and saucers!

Yes we have gone over to mugs for coffee I got a nice set in b and m store last year, but tea only tastes good out of China cup or sat round a fire outdoors in an enamel mug.

My mother liked a cup and saucer, so was not a happy bunny when visiting us and had to put up with a mug, however posh!

Who remembers those plastic tea caddy things that hung on the wall and dispensed tea at the push of a button?
