Re: Continue the Story.
Sara was a broadminded young lady but was a little shocked at what she'd just read about her boss. She screwed the paper back up, returned it to Gerald's desk, then went back to her own desk leaving the door as she had found it.Re: Continue the Story.
Unaware of what Gerald had to hide Sara went to the library on her day off, and using the newspaper history facility started scanning for anything connected to a Gerald Turner. It wasn’t long before a newspaper headline caught her attention regarding an incident in Paris in which an English art dealer had been involved and imprisoned over. Reading the whole story she felt sorry for Gerald and made up her mind to help him catch the villains connected with the theft and ransom demands.she called on an old friend who worked in the mets unsolved crimes dept and gave him the names of the main suspects, Claude Dubois and Anna Chambers. Surprise surprise there was a reference to a Claude Dubois who was involved in an as yet unsolved scam on a casino boss. Armed with this information Sara decided to confront Gerald....Re: Continue the Story.
Her chance came during an interval in the Work Shop on Sara's next day at The Gallery."She told Gerald all that she'd learnt from her old friend in the mets unsolved crimes dept. about Claude's involvement in the scamming of the owner of The Golden Sunrise and handed Gerry her friend's card with his telephone number on. Gerry lost no time in contacting him and very soon two officers were being shown into his office where he handed them the two ransom notes and appraised them of where to find Claude and Anna, who very quickly, were seen being escorted from the Gallery. The taller of the two officers returned briefly inside and told Gerald that Mr Dubois and Miss Chambers were being taken into custody and would very likely be charged with the crime of Extortion if a case against them was proved. Gerry asked when his painting would be returned and heard the good news that it should be back with him in a day or two.
