Cashless society – another nail in the coffin?
First it was the banks closing branches, then ATMs were being taken out with some of those remaining no longer free to use. Now it's revealed Post Offices are being closed as they are no longer considered viable.
"Up to 2,500 small post offices will close or downsize in the next 12 months because of financial hardship, says the National Federation of Sub-Postmasters."

People in rural villages are in danger of being completely isolated as Post Offices are often the only means left to do any financial business. Where I live the village shop already encompasses a pharmacy and a Post Office, after these previously individual businesses in the village closed.
Do you now use the Post Office in place of a bank that has closed, how would you manage if that closed and what are your comments on this?
