surfing

forms a great part of ozzie life - we have a great surfer Fanning who in an 'oorible accident tore his hamstring right off the bone - he paid for the best surgeon he could who drill a few holes in the bone and re-attached the hamstring - one years no surfing and exercise only and now he's back on the surfboard - the magic of miracle surgery!

Re: surfing

Goodness! How did that happen? Did he come down hard on the edge of the board?

I know nothing about surfing so can't envisage what happened.

Re: surfing

Good on him and all that but that's nothing compared to this Englishman who returned to surfing after breaking his back.
