Re: Are you sexist?

Why do we judge people by their gender? We are all individuals & each has their own abilities!
Equality for women was designed to allow them to do the same jobs as men & get equal pay.... but only if they are good enough

Doesn't being sexist mean that you are afraid that the opposite sex may do the job better, if they are allowed to?

Shouldn't we just applaud anybody ( man or woman) if they do a job better than the gender it was originally intended for?

The only situation, where I find men inferior to women, is when they find it difficult to talk about emotional or health problems..... so come on men, go to see a doctor if something seems wrong, or find a confidante that you can discuss emotional problems with. You know it makes sense and it could save you life!

Thank you darlin'. Originally it was self preservation of my ear, I had a very strict up-bringing and if I didn't do those things, I got a clip round the ear from George, my Dad. However, the habit has stuck and now I do it as a matter of course, and just consider it as 'good manners'.

I'm usually ok with reverse parking, (why isn't it called parallel parking any more, seeing as how I always reverse into car park spaces anyway?), but yesterday I made a complete balls-up of doing it in a quiet side street!
I had two goes in one space, then gave up and had two goes in another space before I succeeded.

Dunno why. It's a mystery.

You're right Summer, that's why there are so many men dressing up in ladies clothes and wanting to change into women.....
