Re: Chipped

I've just bought some chips.

Oven chips.

Double cooked chips.

???

I've noticed that some chips contain wheat flour. Just why? Not much good to people who can't or don't want to eat wheat products, or who might be gluten intolerant.

And other chips...... yes, YOU Marks and Spencer! ....... sell chips cooked in animal fat, so no good to vegetarians who just want CHIPS! Unadulterated CHIPS!

I know, I know, I could cook my own, but........... all that oil, all that potential fire risk...................................

Dunno, but you kind of expect everything to be cooked in Oil these days, as opposed to anything else.

My bad, maybe!
