Tree peonies

I've just had 2 delivered I forgot I'd ordered them, anyone got any hints and tips for growing them, I did have one before but managed to kill it somehow, I think it was planted in the wrong place.

brilliant thanks for that I think the spot where I planted the last one was too shady, so I'll try on the other side of the garden. It gets more sun.

Re: Tree peonies

My only tip with Peonies is they do require a sun, they do not appear to tolerate at least in my garden lots of shade or soggy soil.

I am really coming to love peonies. Have not got a tree one yet but will do.

Re: Tree peonies

I love tree peonies; had a gorgeous yellow one at my previous home; too big to dig up and transplant ...have not found room here to put one in. Very small yard in the back and the front is too shady.
