Thanks it doesn't look like that at the moment though but we hope by next summer it will be a garden once more ... We had to have the conifers taken out as my husband has a back problem and they were just getting too much for him to trim as he used to do them twice a year,also one of them got something nasty and was dying so they would have looked awful in a couple of years time... Luckily we are very private at the back so we don't really miss them and it's amazing how much lighter it is in the garden now... We have just got to work a lot of muck into the ground (luckily my daughter has a horse) over winter as the soil is so rubbish where they have been...
