Re: Treating yourself

Once in a while while out at a craft sale, I will buy a small trinket with a dragonfly etched on it, or treat myself to a small spray of flowers.
Just because.....

Perfume! I have a larger selection than Debenhams - almost.

Re: Treating yourself

I fancied Chinese food last Saturday, so I ordered some. I don't eat out or have take-aways very much so it was a bit of a treat.

As a bonus, there was enough left over to make a meal on Sunday night too.

My little indulgence is paper back novels. I buy a couple most weeks - brand new from Amazon.

Re: Treating yourself

Friday night is my treat night. The end of the working week.
It's out to our local pub for a meal and a pint and while Mrs. Floydysaurus is watching some utter crap in the front room I retire to my man cave, put on a box set and watch a full disc right through. A couple of bottles of quality real ale and maybe a nice bar of Galaxy to complement my relaxing evening.

I used to have reckless and impulsive habits but I've settled down a little since I was punished for the past 20 years paying back a credit card consolidation loan. Serves me right to suffer.

That's the sort of thing I'd like too, Tess.

Yes, I can understand that, especially as the growing season will shortly be under way.

It is so frustrating when we need a bit of help with some jobs and no one is about isn't it.
I think most of us 'singles' feel the same way, Tess.

Hope some help turns up for you soon.
