It took my late OH and I over 30 years to actually 'do it'
but the circumstances were extraordinary.
Money was never an issue and we always had a joint Bank account.
Remarrying at this age, might not be sensible because of all the legal stuff regarding inheritance.
However ... I certainly enjoyed being married at last.
My 'women's lib' type of thought about losing my surname became of no consequence ...
It was something I thought I'd never be able to do ... and I would REALLY like to see if I could do it again ESPECIALLY if I get another ring
Nothing fancy, no jewels and second hand will do nicely
No, Rachel, not second hand, they're bad luck. Remember, you are worth brand new!
Giz's a break, after 3 spouses and 2 live ins......nooooo!
Most of the people who've known me over the years get a peculiar look on their face, raise their eyes and say 'don't go there' if I mention a bloke
Some aspects I miss, but in general, I'm better on my own methinks, even if it is a tad boring.
Bloody hell I roared when I read that, Dog is looking at me puzzled.
No never again. Quite content with my own company and there's no argument about listening to cricket or how strong the tea should be! But I do miss the company on an outing!
