Over50sforum.

We, being in the 50s age range, match the forum title better than those in their 60s, 70s etc.

You have to remember those who are just over 50, stay here long enough and you will be heading for 90 like the rest of us

Fifty to 100 (let's say) is a huge gap. It's like saying between 0 and 50 although the former seems to go a lot quicker.

Why when I have been posting with you for years, here there and everywhere. Last week, yesterday , later

Then I could tell you about my flint wall I need to start repairing today, the 170 year old lime mortar is giving up the ghost, unless you want to talk about my chimney , that needs lining. The problem being it needs six inch to fit our stove and I recon that will get stuck and I will end up having to cut brick work out of the bedroom wall to get it out
Was that interesting from a poor old disabled sod with a Blue Badge?
Then it ain't how old you are, it is how old you become in life that is the problem.

Re: A forum full of old dears.

To be fair, I came across this forum by accident.
I was actually looking for a fitness forum which caters for a sort of "over 40's", but not stretching to the other extreme of "water aerobics for the elderly person" or such like, but there is absolutely nothing on the internet which suits.

My usual site, and many others like it, are more specifically geared towards bodybuilders and powerlifters, but I'm just about the oldest on there and I do feel out of place sometimes. I still have a great affinity with the lads who do that sort of thing, and I can still put in some hard graft at the gym as I've done it all myself but I'm past my 'peak', as it were.

But joining in on here with you all is good for me, and I'm seeing what I'm heading for When I start rambling on about tomato plants and how to bake a rhubarb pie, then I think it could be time to have a rethink - until then, you're stuck with this youthful chappie I'm afraid.

Lol! Nearest I got to that was purple and green spikey in the late 70's punk scene. Happy days! Nowadays the hair cannot be found to do that sort of thing, alas
