I smoked until Dec 2006 until the oral-cancer guy eyeballed me and said
"This is very simple. You smoke, you die".
I stopped, I survived (some might say "bugger !")

Will admit to a very, very occasional puff when very, very shit-faced ..... and surrounded by smokers.
Maybe half a dozen in ten years.

Tpin, my mission in life is to stop as many smokers as I can.
When I found a lump in my breast and went to get it checked, I discovered that I was a rare case and it wasn't breast cancer, but lung cancer that had formed in my breast. I smoked between 3 and 5 cigarettes a day
I did survive, but the treatments were awful, so I now try to make sure that other people don't have to go through the same.
Well done Tpin..... but you do know that I will now ask you whether you have smoked, every time we speak............ and if you say you have I will have to remind you how scary I can be.

Terry, just think how healthy you will be and how much more money you will have to spend.

I have been smoking since I was 13 years old until I was 28 years old at 30 cigs a day, and I just gave up instantly and never looked back.
