Couldn't agree more. Far too many people on the planet many of whom breed indiscriminately either through ignorance or religious conviction. Some diseases should be allowed to flourish rather than find cures - that should go some way to cull the population.

It's all about control and money. Follow the money.
Excellent post Julie.... Spot on....

It disappeared in civilised societies along with sending children up chimneys, into looms and down coal mines

Oh come on! how on earth do you come up with this sort of nonsense? UK birthrate = 1.8 per female, China = 1.6 the UK is out breeding the the Chinese and China is only 20% of the earth's population and has probably always been so.

Re: Greta Thunberg ... again

Well watching latest car crash interview the poor girl gave I'd suggest she should be home loved by her parents not wheeled out in front of the cameras. Seems unless she has her minders writing her scripts she has no idea what to say or do, even why she is on the stage. So sad to see a child used in this way.

No! you come on Bruce.....

The population of China is 1,433,783,686 That's One Thousand four hundred and thirty three Million Souls......and accounts for 18.59% of the total worlds population......

As opposed to 67 million in the UK......
You said yourself that we do not have enough arable land to support our population.....so either we stop allowing people in or suffer the consequences.

Re: Greta Thunberg ... again

London, 26 September: A major scientific paper, which claimed to have found rapid warming in the oceans as a result of manmade global warming, has been withdrawn after an amateur climate scientist found major errors in its statistical methodology.

The paper, from a team led by Laure Resplandy of Princeton University, had received widespread uncritical publicity in the mainstream media when it was published because of its apparently alarming implications for the planet. However, within days of its publication in October 2018, independent scientist Nic Lewis found several serious flaws.

Yesterday, after nearly a year’s delay, the paper was officially withdrawn.

Nic Lewis said

“This is just the latest example of climate scientists letting themselves down by using incorrect statistics. The climate field needs to get professional statisticians involved up front if it is going to avoid this kind of embarrassment in future”.

Dr Benny Peiser, director of the Global Warming Policy Forum, said

“Climatology is littered with examples of bad statistics, going back to the infamous Hockey Stick graph and beyond. Peer review is failing and it is falling to amateurs to find the errors. Scientists in the field should be embarrassed”.
