Banana Fruit loaf made and have cut the first slice and tasted it - its wonderful!!!! - Banana cake for 'tea' later this evening.

have just cut a slice off mine it's beautiful you can still taste the bananas but with the fruit it takes the sweetness out a bit, forgot the baking powder but it's still risen just a bit denser but lovely all the same. I know what's going in my Christmas cakes this year. Thanks UJ.

....done lots of jobs inside, thanks to the weather.! Quick trip to the supermarket and after dinner, visited my Niece and her little ones for couple of hours. Had forgotten how much energy a three year old has....came back home ready to sit down with a cuppa!

Found that one of my loaves is beginning tio 'go off'. Will have to rescue as many slices as I can and make another bread pudding with them later this morning.

Now there's a thought - Bread pudding flavoured with Cinnamon, Allspice, Mixed Spice and ....... Brandy!!!!

thought after I'd posted that, hmmm that could work with brandy or rum could be alternative to Chrimbo pudding. Was contemplating feeding banana cake wirh brandy.
