Sparkling windows smear free

I tried it this week after seeing something on face book of course I didnt believe it but I am delighted, my conservatory faces south and the windows have always been smeary after hours of polishing and wiping until this week

Half a cap of laundry softener (I used lenor)
Fill bucket with hot water

Wash over glass then dry and polish with soft cloth . Dont add too much lenor or softener.

I can assure you you will be delighted as I am
No smears and so clear

Re: Sparkling windows smear free

Ooh, I'm going to try that, Susan.
I am absolutely useless at cleaning windows without leaving smudges, consequently, I hate the job.

If this works I shall luv you forever.

Oh that's interesting, I'm going to try it too, thanks! Normally I just use hot water and a squirt of washing up liquid. I also work up and down on one side, then across left to right on the other. That helps keep them streak free too, for some reason.

Wonder if it would work on our shower doors. I simply can't get them the way I'd like..

No smears on my windows, I have never cleaned them in the 40+ years I have lived here.
