Imperial College C19 antibody survey

Is anyone else taking part.
I volunteered an my kit has just arrived .
It's a blood test with instant results which I send in by email, it will be good to know the vaccination has worked...or not.
After the bad reaction I had ti the vaccination I am assuming I have antibodies.

That's a bit worrying for your daughter . Could it have been a faulty test do you think?

It was read somewhere that immunity from the Jab is not visible in the antibody test, in the same way as natural immunity, seems a bit strange but there is a lot of strange stuff at the moment.

Re: Imperial College C19 antibody survey

This is a blood test and while they say it is not 100% accurate (nothing is) it is a good indication of antibody production after so many people have been vaccinated.

I tested positive with a C and G but not an M (as did my sister) so we both appear to have long acting antibodies from the vaccination which is good news .
We have both had 2 doses of vaccine and haven't to our knowledge had C 19 after isolating for over a year.
