Isn't it amazing.............

What you can queeze into a 5 square meter greenhouse.

Two half pallets of strawberries, three rows of carrots, four rows of spring onions, a row of beetroots, three paprika plants, a cucumber plant, two gherkin plants, artichokes and tomatoes. Though the artichokes will be repotted and together with the tomato plants will be put outside when the weather is warmer.

Will post photos when I can convert the pics to jpg format

That sounds productive Ulla

I only have a small garden but squeeze a lot into it and it gives Chloe dog and me endless pleasure watching things grow.

I look forward to seeing your pictures pictures ...

Re: Isn't it amazing.............

Here are a couple of pics from my greenhouse.

In the first one, four rows of spring onions, three rows of carrots and two half pallets of strawberries. With luck and some warm weather I might have my own strawberries for our Midsummer celebrations.

In the second one, cucumber at the back, two gherkin plants (not visible), five artichoke plants in pots, three paprika plants, a row of beetroots, another row of carrots (just starting to come up) and my tomato plants. The artichokes will be repotted and go outside together with the tomatoes when it gets warmer.

The raised bed I made and installed myself.

The plants look very healthy Ullabi. You obviously have the knack for growing everything. It all looks very neat and tidy as well. Your garden looks great too.

I find raised bed a godsend so easy to maintain and very productive.

Ulla your strawberries are more forward than mine, it has been unseasonably cold here and most things are behind in growth.

Oh Ullabi, I am so envious! Your raised beds look amazing! I have some on an allotment, but the weather has been so cold over here in Scotland, that nothing apart from onions are poking their heads above soil! I have a mini greenhouse in the back room of my house where I have beans and peas (and some flowers), and they are doing well, but things outside....not so much. Well done!
