No one knows how people catch colds, but if it is flu, you can have a jab once a year that helps.
Oh I had the jab alright but this is man flu, much, much worse.

Not fair is it?
HA! No not really, perhaps I should turn it around the other way.

The only cure for man flu is to climb into bed surrounded by every pillow in the house, get Mrs. LD to start the hourly delivery of orange juice and a massage. Also be sure to open the door to your bedroom wide, so the requisite moaning and suffering will garner the restorative sympathy.

Hope you feel better already . If not, groan louder.
Tis true, I have touched some orafices recently.

The only thing we can do is lie down holding the remote control.
The remote does help slightly.

If you have Man Flu, remember the Pillow squad still exist are are available for urgent work!

If you have a sore throat gargle with soluble aspirin, drink plenty of water and stop talking!
If the situation gets worse I am available to come to your house and look after you , so tell Mrs Dongle she can go out & enjoy herself!

Re: I have a cold (probably Man Flu)

Long dogs have you been near cut grass lately?
Runny nose ,sore throat ? Pollen could be the culprit .
Have you any high strength Vitamin C to hand?
Take all the advice in here and you should be ok soon .
Best Wishes ,oh and keep on wearing the mask. You know it’s sensible .

I do get hay fever Zuleika but normally tree pollen is the culprit. That sort of stopped a couple of weeks ago though.

I didn't know the pillow squad was still active. Will you be bringing your leather goods?
