Thanks LD, I realised I'd typed in the wrong title when the programme came on last night d'oh

We were shocked by the outcome as we were convinced it was either his fiancée or her daughter or both but never suspected him at all. All in all a good 4 hours of TV drama.

I suspected him from the outset (along with the usual niggling doubt of her innocence, obviously), but got entirely the wrong motive.
