Theories are fine, but nothing impresses me like someone actually demonstrating an idea.

There are so many youtube videos, which I call "click bait", which postulate wild ideas. Unfortunately, 99% of them never show us how their wild ideas actually work.

The man who moved that 20 ton stone, backed his idea up with proof positive. That, folks, impresses me.

Agreed.

The water theory would be lovely if they could explain how this alleged spring managed to lift substantial amounts of water to significant heights, and why it seems to have disappeared without trace. For what it's worth, one could imagine that having a permanent moat around the pyramid afterwards would have been a lovely additions , as said, there's no evidence of it ever having existed.

That's the problem with stone, it is heavy and dense based.

Re: One of the greatest mysteries

Well, I guess we have worked our way through all of the REASONABLE solutions as to how the Great Pyramid was constructed.

To date, academics have said there are 2 leading contenders for how it was achieved. 1.) A very long ramp and 2.) A ramp that wound its way around the pyramid.

Professor Bob Brier, an eminent Egyptologist says neither would work. He is looking into a 3rd possibility … an interior ramp. Time will tell. Whether any of us will be still alive when this is either confirmed or disproven is a big question.

I, personally, think that the various combinations of ways we have discussed in this thread are as good a possibility as anything the academics have come up with. (excluding aliens and the floating stone blocks on water theories)

Thank you, all for your contributions.
