Le Gourmet
This is an old painting I did at school when I was about 15.
It's a copy freehand of Picasso 's Le Gourmet done in poster paints .
My art teacher said I had a future as a forger !

This is should the original done by Picasso in oils
I think coping the old masters is a good way to learn although it has to be said I haven't done one since !

Copying masters of anything is the greatest compliment to them as well as learning from them. Nothing wrong with that.
