Iran ....

Meanwhile in Iran, the EU are close to agreeing an oil deal with them, even though unilateral US sanctions have been put on them because of their nuclear weapons developments (think Israel)

Looks like the EU has found a way to trade with Iran using the Euro .... tut tut

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKCN1SD1QB

Not surprisingly, who comes to visit the UK ? None other than Mr Pompeo to discuss the Iran issue with us.

https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-us...-idUKKCN1SE0QF

Coincidence ?

Hmmm.. I guess the plot thickens....

Re: Iran ....

There's trouble afoot.

Pompeo cancelled his trip to Germany yesterday, and flew to Iraq instead .
US have sent USS Abraham Lincoln to the area this weekend, and a few million dollars worth of arms to Lebanon , reported in the last month.

So what are 'American Interests' in that region.. ? It doesn't actually say, but I bet any money John Bolton is in the shadows , rubbing his hands together .

We don't need any part of this 'US might' that runs riot throughout the world , destroying lives through lies and deceit for alterior motives.

Sick to death of them..

Just sold billions of $$ of weapons to Taiwan as well. That will upset the Chinese....

The EU are using the Euro to trade with Iran by all accounts (to get round the $$ and the US sanctions) as well, and rumour has it North Korea have more than an interest in Irans nuclear capability....

Re: Iran ....

He gave a press conference today, along with Hunt. Various topics dragged into it, but the overriding reason was about Iran.

Iran have threatened to start the nuclear programme again, in an attempt to scare US , but that wouldn't have happened had US not placed sanctions on Iran in the first place.
Not only have US placed sanctions on Iran but also against anyone who does business with them.

Why does US always put a spanner in the works. Hunt said that if Iran does start the nuclear programme again, then UK and EU will obviously have to look at the situation , and looks like they would follow US policy.

That doesn't explain why US have flown B 52 bombers and sailed USS Abraham Lincoln into the area, as nothing on the nuclear capability of Iran is about to happen over night.

Basically, US have wanted to attack Iran for long enough and all countries in Middle East bar one. Plus others were on the agenda as General Wesley Clark tells here :

Re: Iran ....

So no connection then to the 250 or so rockets that Hamas has fires into Israel from the Gaza Strip and the fact that Iran supports Hamas and Trump is not surprisingly actively pro Israel.

The US will also want to protect the position of the dollar as the de facto currency for trading in oil. Should an alternate market be established in Euros then countries around the.world could exchange some of their dollar reserves for the Euro and potentially wreak havoc on the dollar value and US economy

Hi

We need to learn to keep out of it Muddy,

The CIA armed, trained and financed the Taliban to annoy the Russians.

Look where that got us.

Saudi financed 9/11 and ISIS.

The biggest humanitarian crisis in the World is financed by Saudi using weapons we sell them.

ISIS was not defeated by the West.

It was defeated by the Russians, Iranians and Kurds.

Ian is absolutely no threat to us at all.

Hi

Trump needs a war, domestic politics.

Iran was inspected in February by an International team who stated that they were keeping to the agreement.

Trump then went solo and put sanctions on them and then and only then, did Iran start up again.
