Pound/Dollar Sign

For some unknown reason the Pound sign on my Dell laptop types as the Dollar sign and I can't remember how to change it back, any help would be much appreciated.

If Windows 10 bottom right next to Time and date it should read ENG ....click on and change to English UK keyboard

Control Panel => Region and Language settings
