Nom, can't your camera or bird watching friends organise anything?

We are having a fishing competition on our local pool.

No mobiles, no radios

In fact we are having two, one in the morning, barbecue at lunch, one in the afternoon.

Anyone who mentions the dreaded event has to put £2 in the hat, proceeds to the club funds.

I can't see the marriage lasting more than a few years. It always mystifies me why people would want to watch a royal wedding let alone buy all the commemorative tat.

I am in favour of the Monarchy, but as for watching the wedding, I would be bored to tears.

It's easy enough for us as we will both be working on the day and no radios. Come evening (if weather permits) we will take the Clydes out for a nice long hack. As the TV is not on all that much we should be fine later on. The problem will come in the following days if there's lots of highlights all the time.

You'll need to find a pub without a giant TV screen
