Possibly.

Our first introduction into music was a Lullaby and Poetry would be a little rhyme, handed down the family.

Ive used them both and still enjoy seeing parents interacting with their bairns,so much better for the kids development i feel.

Re: Possibly.

I used to sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' to my twins.

I can't remember either of my parents singing to me as a child

I sang this to my twins too, Mags.

Bath time was a music extravaganza every night, "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "Wheels on the Bus", "Arky, Arky", "You are My Sunshine", "Rockin' Robin"....

but often this one as I tucked them in...

and this one (my daughter's nickname), but with a little less "country":

.

It is indeed such a fragile magic...

I always liked that song, and the voice of the girl who sang it, in fact I just felt the need to listen to it again.
Here it is for anyone else who wants to listen
