I'm feeling a bit of a connection here Floydy. I'm wondering if your swivel heads also bounce when they walk (Re; my bouncy teenagers thread) as though they are about to fall forward so have to catch up with their legs.

As for the starers, I stand it for a while then settle down for a contest making sure I blink as little as possible.

No not as a rule, unless there's a commotion some place near, then I have a look. If I feel someone is staring at me I look right back..

I've had a stiff neck recently which means it's actually painful to look behind me for cars when crossing roads.

Otherwise, I think I'm perfectly normal; most people are too wrapped up in their own business to notice other people much.
