Short for Judderman as per the Metz advert of old. My friends on other forums shortened it to Judd (easier to write ) so I started using it as a name.

I always think of 'ar Judd' from the movie Kes, but I doubt you are anything like the nasty batter he was

I joined a forum about ten years ago, everything was a bit rushed and I thought I was entering a password - not a username - so that was it!

The name stuck and I've used it on other sites since.

NB this is typical of the sort of low-security, easy-to-remember password I use for serious stuff like banking.
