Beast from the East

Given the impending doom and gloom scenario, I've got my strawberries and potted olive tree under cover. Is there anything else I should do?

Re: Beast from the East

We just cover the borders in straw and compost and do a little prayer as we can't get back to it until Easter weekend. It does take the worry out as we know we can't do any better until the caravan site opens again.

If I won the lottery, I'd be inclined to turn my garden into a large greenhouse (unheated). It always seems such a shame that we can't make full use of the space for the whole of the year, especially as it's about twice the footprint in size of the house.

That's a good plan one that has a roll back roof to let in the sun in the summer !
