No the dishonesty is in the refusal to mete out the will of the people. Purposely delaying and obfuscating and dragging the process out is NOT a legitimate way to then state that the referendum result is no longer valid.

It was valid

It remains valid

It WILL stand

Suck it up
That's the problem with a democratic vote...you don't always get the result you want.

No, the very opposite. You do not get what you wanted the voters to vote for.

How peculiar. Here on the continent we determine for ourselves what we vote. You vote for what somebody wants you to vote?

What I was trying to say was that politicians sometimes give the voters a choice but don't always get the result they wanted. It finished the political careers of both Alex Salmond and David Cameron.

If you dare not take difficult decisions for your country, why ask your citizens to do it. It is a sure way to cause a split among the people you are supposed to govern. That is why they gave you the job in the first place.
By the way, who is cameron?

You're way behind the times. That empire collapsed decades ago. You are sitting on it's remnants.
