Re: Eyesight
I asked the eye surgeon about Laser for the eyes and he said avoid at all costs. That was when I had my eye operated on. He is one of the top eye surgeons in the country, even lectures on the subject.Re: Eyesight
Re: Eyesight
I’m with realspeed on this one. I’ know some people who have had laser surgery who have had their eyes ruined by it so I personally wouldn’t do it, plus it has to be done often. It’s not a one time deal.Re: Eyesight
My eyesight started going about mid 40's too, Lion Queen, but at first I ignored it & muddled on, then around 49 decided I'd have to have an eye test, I was surprised at how bad my eyes had got too, hence needing vari-focals. I have had Vari-focals for years now, It took me a while to get used to them, but once I did it was marvelous. I have two pairs, one I keep in my bag, the other I keep by the PC. I get my eyes tested every 2 years & surprisingly they haven't really changed much in those years, except I do have very slow growing cataracts in both eyes.Re: Eyesight

Re: Eyesight
Lion Queen, I'm in a very similar position. My sight started to fade with seeing long distance and being affected by bright lights in my late 40's so I got an eye test and ended up with glasses for watching TV/going to see bands, driving and a pair of sunglasses. Now my reading is getting little bit blurry too so I may need glasses for this too.Re: Eyesight
