Re: The Jesus Strand: Scientists want to clone the Messiah

I watched the documentary you posted Bratti as far as possible before I got so hissed off with the constant interruption for adverts.
Having watched various documentaries over years, I only see this as a collection of other peoples scientific findings, put together and wrapped around their own ambitions.

I managed to watch about 45 mins.

If anyone is REALLY interested they should try to watch the one I posted. It gives a very different dimension of the shroud.

Thanks Puddle Duck. I’ll try and watch it today. I think I have enough data.

I found the program I watched very repetitive also. I’m not sure if they did that to try and make the program longer or just had no other info to add but it was somewhat disappointing.

Excuse me but I am the furthest you could possibly get to being a follower so you can stuff that idea.

The rest, I don’t fully understand , but luckily I don’t know it all , so still have room to ponder other ideas and information.

Re: The Jesus Strand: Scientists want to clone the Messiah

Why not explore the idea that Jesus did in fact live as a human being and if there are any records to prove so then I find that interesting.

I’m not above considering the idea that there’s information out there about Jesus apart from bible scriptures.

One doesn’t have to be religious or even believe in the bible to have an interest in whether these humans actually existed.

Apparently there’s information about Noah’s Ark being found also which I find interesting. That doesn’t conclude that I’m discussing religion because I’m not. They are two separate subjects.

I like to have an open mind about everything.
There’s always more to learn and without an open mind / inquisitive mind, there’s no room for learning anything new.

Note: the idea of cloning Jesus I find creepy though

There have been millions (billions?) or other humans. Why focus on that one?

It's an allegorical story so how could there possibly be anything tangible?

Some scientists don't just want to find God - they want to be God!

What business is it of yours who I focus on, why I focus on, when I focus on and how I focus on?

Because unlike you I’m not absolutely sure

I didn’t realize Realist is a scientist.
