I've never watched 'Across the Universe' so can't comment.
I agree, I always enjoy movies more on the big screen and anyway going to the cinema is on of my favourite pastimes. I've not seen Across the Universe either, what is it about Longy?

Carol I wish I could I actually tried last year when I went and watched one of the Thor movies.
Not a new Marvel fan,actually a very old one. but movies like Thor interest me.
Floors were sticky found the air not really suitable for my lungs and all in all just very uncomfortable sitting through it.
I took a mate to Beckton Showcase as my back up just in case I had problem's.
I think we were 2 of 10 in there because it was like 11am.
My boy managers these places he is now at Enfield Cineworld so I can get all the freebies I desire.
Though I don't think I will be taking him up on any of them in future.
Last great movie I watched and enjoyed was Face Off all those years ago in Leicester Square Odeon.
Guess I have just got to used to my own screen on the wall.
By the way if you like Beatles music you should look out for Across The Universe brilliant movie very good story line and lots of top artists singing all their songs.
