Share Your Quick Meal Recipes

If I am hungry I don't always want to wait ages for a meal, so have a few favourites that can be on the table in no time.

Do you have a recipe to add

PASTA, PESTO, RUNNER BEANS and PINE NUTS.
A quick dish that you can eat warm or leave to cold cold for a quick snack later .

Any pasta that you like. I prefer Fusili
Boil and simmer till soft.
Boil and simmer runner beans until soft.
Put an handful of pine nuts into a small pan and heat till brown.

Pop these 3 ingredients onto a plate, stir in pesto to taste and shave some parmigiano on top.

Nice one Eliza. You could have also quickly fried some mushrooms and chicken. Emptied the can of soup over them.. and popped the lot in the oven for 15 minutes on high to brown. Nice with rice

Used to have something very similar in Germany Alan . Very moreish

STRAMMER MAX

Toast and butter bread and spread with bacon and sliced tomato while heating a lightly oiled pan.

Fry the egg to desired doneness, season with pepper and top with grated swiss cheese.

As soon as cheese has melted, transfer the fried egg on top of the sandwich, serve immediately.
