It must be Christmas

20years old this year and never failed to flower at Christmas.

I love them as long as they dont outgrow their pot.

Next door neighbour has one which must be about 18 inch across and it looks very untidy.

No, it has been in the same pot all of it's life.
We prune it now and again.

Do you repot yours Mags?

Mine is relatively new (about 4 years) so I haven't repotted it yet.

I did have one that belonged to my mother but I gave it to my daughter about 12 years ago...... altogether it must be about be about 25 years old. It is very woody now, has never been repotted and is looking a bit sorry for itself. Maybe I'll suggest that my daughter repots it so it may get a new lease of life!

Ours lives in the Bathroom so it gets plenty of steam cleaning.

The leaves are wiped down once a week and dead looking ones removed.

They do need some moisture but in the bathroom we never have to water it.
