My Little Gladiolas

I must laugh considering I didn't know what Gladiolas look like. This was my first flower planting from bulbs. I was so proud of the tiny shoots that broke the topsoil when they started to first grow. Look at them now.

Looking good, Bob. They're easy to grow and will give you some lovely spikes of flowers. Do they get a lot of sun in their location; they do like lots of it.

Unfortunately they can't get a lot of sun & that concerns me. There's a tree right outside my balcony that shades it so only in late afternoon, when the sun is low, do the flowers receive direct sunlight.

Hmmm, not too good, too late to worry now. Keep us posted how they're doing.

About 14 inches but they're all leaves with no flowers yet.

Re: My Little Gladiolas

I was afraid the lack of full sunshine would inhibit flowering, Bob ........
