But seriously..............for those that really want to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...........rather than tabloid headlines.

The European Commission has proposed amending a directive to improve the labelling and reduce the fat content of certain food products, including sausages. If adopted, consumers would be able to tell from the label exactly how much real meat was in sausages, as well as how much was fat and cheap ‘mechanically recovered meat’.

Follow this link if you want to know the true facts, or for more humour in the same vein click on the Youtube in the first video to have a laugh.

When challenged about this all you could come up with is:

That's the rule matey like it or not.
That is not the same as your claim. There is nothing in the rules by the EU that any banana producer could not comply with easily. They are very general in nature and nothing like as prescriptive as you claim.

No doubt you will do your usual squirming and claim I have edited your message but I have not edited anything of relevance.

If you think those rules are difficult have a look at the 'rules' for growing bananas yet farmers still manage to produce nearly half a million tonnes of the damn things each year.

The discussion was not about whether producers could easily comply with the huge list of regulations.

Point is the regulation DO mandate that bananas should not have abnormal curvature and that cucumbers must be almost perfectly straight to be able to put them in specific classes.

It's micro management gone loco.

Certainly not football, since France and a tiny country in the South-east corner of Europe are both better than UK (since neither Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland evem made it to the final rounds of the competition.

Re: Boris Johnson resigns.

Did the Germans comply with regulations about car emissions no they cheated.

Did the Germans play fair when it came to paying up for that cheating yes to the USA....... no to a European partner UK.

Thats why i want out, the EU is not fair to all members.
