Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

It is indeed a beautiful spring day. We're off for a walk to the botanical Gardens this pm with a small picnic (well a packet of biscuits!). It'll be lovely to see the flowers and plants. What a difference a week makes!

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Evening All,turned chilly while I was out in the garden chatting to My Neighbours, but still it was sunny and great to catch up..The couple on one side had Their vacc' 3 weeks ago like Me,the other couple are in Their 50s so still waiting...I'm looking forward to the shops all opening on the High Street as I badly need some new Spring/Summer clothes/shoes...Hope We don't have too long to wait until it's safe..It was also great to see the Young Children in the Ave' going off to School again,so hope Their Parents stick to distancing & mask wearing at the School gates,

Off to watch 'Married at first sight Australia' later..it's addictive & hilarious

May ,I wonder what the high street's going to look like when we get back to it..so many shops have closed, I think there's one shoe shop left, Debenhams has closed, H Samuel, Hourstons, when I look back at all the shops that once made up the high street in every town, it's sad

Morning everyone. I see the scottish weather is back with a vengance. I despair, I really do - yesterday was such a nice day! Anyway, painting a room today so that'll be fun...I knew that orange "accent" wall wouldn't work

Morning, Yes the rain is back here as well along with a terrific wind. No beach walk today myself and dog will do the woods instead and hopefully get a bit of shelter. Heading to the Chiropractor again shortly, more bone crunching
Wondering what Nicola has in store for Scotland, not many changes I expect. I want my pool to reopen, like yesterday.

Good Morning Each, and what a wet windy miserable one it is too,was rudely awakened by My letterbox clattering and the rain battering against the windows..yuck!

Aye You're right about the shops which have closed Their doors for good Paula,I'm wondering what Buchanan St and Sauchiehall St will look like now,it's been such a long time since I walked around the City taking everything for granted,..oh well,We can only hope..Getting groceries online has been a godsend, but shopping online for clothes/shoes is just not on

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Good morning I think we all have the same weather today. May I thought I was the only one watching that programme. The only one that annoys me is Jess with her pout trout. I'm wondering what the high street will be like. Paula I got my bed in Hourstons its a shame they closed. I just hope my favourite store doesn't close, I just love going in Frasers and wandering around there.
