I haven't used nail varnish since my teens. Even then I only liked subtle colours.
There are some pretty ones nowadays, but they'd look ridiculous on my old hands now.

I don't paint my finger nails, but I do paint my toenails a pale shade in summer because I I think they look better with sandals.

I really hate those madly coloured and highly decorated nails that some people seem to love. It's like tattoos, I just can't see the attraction myself but each to his or her own.
