I learned Jockinese from Billy Connelly records,

Welsh sounds like someone being sick,

Very partial too the soft Irish lilt,

Dont mind the Brummie accent,

Off to man the wall think the natives might be restless.

I spoke to someone from here, for the first time recently. She thought I would have an "Oooo ar " Somerset accent, which it seems I don't!
I think when you live overseas you have to speak "properly" so that folk understand you.
I do find that I copy people's accents when I'm talking to them, which can be quite embarrassing!

I like a Yorkshire one, and some Welsh and Cornish type accents - oh, and some scottish ones. I like to hear my friend from the Highlands.
