And the riots/massacre in the former link encouraged Nelson Mandela to abandon his nonviolent stance and organise a paramilitary group. A freedom fighter? Should I call him that? Hatred and violence breeds more hatred and violence.

Sorry, the land was NEVER given to the Hebrews. The Hebrews arrived from Egypt and spent 40 yrs wandering the desert like the rest of the Arabs . They battled with near enough every tribe they came into contact with. Joshua and Caleb were sent into Canaan as spies on the land. They returned with the news that the land was good , so the land was then taken by force from the Canaanites by the Hebrews.The Hebrew nation never extended that far.

How long before Islam......? muslims .... ? . It was long before Judaism, and they were all Arabs. The Hebrews had just spent 400 year in Egypt pre- dated by Abraham , who in fact was from Persia. (Iran)He wandered the desert too, up and down up and down for years and ended up in Turkey somewhere. That's from where the Hebrews travelled to Egypt . So no religions for any of them when all that was happening, just paganism.
Then of course the Hebrews f..d up once too often and the New Testament began. Out with the old, in with the new, so to speak.
However it is quaint the way the Jews continue to quote bible passages for their identity as the chosen people and qualifying reasons declaring that God will gather Israel, after being scattered all over the earth by the dispersions, from even the four corners of the earth . Then their Messiah will come. (Netanyahu ?)
