Re: Swiss Trade Deal ...

Let's hope that others join them in offering trade deals independent of EU shackles. Who knows? EU member countries may decide to deal with the UK directly on favourable bi-lateral terms.

Great News! I have just been reading that Italy is threatening the EU with a bilateral trade agreement with the UK in order to ensure protection of its citizens by having its own trade deals with us.

Also

Southern Ireland's deputy PM, Coveney, has criticised Varadakar for risking the jobs of thousands by not offering the UK concessions over Brexit.

Hungary, along with other MEP's are also arguing with the Commission to work with the UK to ensure trade is successful for both. They also ask that the EU stop being so intransigent in their dealings with us over Brexit.

Looks like EU unity is slowly by surely disintegrating.

The above, along with the newly formed "Brexit Party", which could claim many EU seats, must be very worrying for the Commission.

All this brought upon themselves for acting like schoolground bullies!

Half the problem with negotiating with the EU is that they are all glorified civil servants with nothing to lose.

We should have been only talking to elected members from the start

Great post SG !
