Good morning Friday

Good morning all, a brighter forecast for today, and for the weekend too.

A busy day today, new furniture being delivered around lunchtime so I have to spend the day disassembling the old three piece and taking it to the tip ... I may be gone for quite some time...

Here's hoping your day is a pleasant one.

Good Morning Barry and everyone,

The Laundry Goblins are after me this morning and I am expecting an Amazon delivery - don't know how I will cope with such excitement!

Good luck with your new furniture Barry.

Have a fun day!

Re: Good morning Friday

Afternoon all, quite a decent winter day, very sunny this morning so I washed all my bedding and got it dry by lunch time. It has clouded over a bit this arvo but no sign of rain. Late opening tonight so I might go to the supermarket later.

Yesterday I received my second $750 of the government stimulus package so this morning I drove to Bunnings and bought a 1600watt Ryobi Plunge Router for $149 and a set of bits for $50.

The PM, Scotty from Marketing wants me to spend it to keep the economy afloat so I felt obligated.

Anyway keep on keeping on...

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

Dry here this morning. Today is expected to be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and feeling warm, according to today’s forecast. Maximum temperature 27ºC.

Maybe a day out in the garden still trying to get various tasks completed.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

Re: Good morning Friday

Good morning everyone a lovely sunny start.

I am going to do some jobs in the garden , I want to fill in some patches on the lawn where I dug up weeds (2 buckets of plantains) but am conscious of the resident pair of wood pigeons watching my every move and waiting to devour any grass seed. I have a bin full of grass cuttings ready to cover the newly planted seed and hope it deters them .

Enjoy your day

Re: Good morning Friday

Good morning all a beautiful sunny day ...

My Sainsburys grocery delivery arrived over an hour late last night, one of the drivers was taken ill. I’m just thankful I was able to get a delivery at all.

Doing a bit more wallpaper stripping today then hope to get out in the garden later.

Enjoy your day everyone 🌞

Re: Good morning Friday

Hi

Pleasantly surprised by Clinic and Blood Test this morning.

Done locally, very well organised, nice staff

Sit in your car outside, get out when your appointment time is shown, wait at the door, escorted in, sanitiser and new Facemask given, a Medical one.

Temperature, blood pressure and oxygen levels first. then blood test and then the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner.

A one way system in and out.

Unfortunately, as usual there was one prat.

A Pensioner who did not have time to queue, he had things to do.

They dealt with him very gently and professionally.

I really do admire the Frontline Staff.
