Internet connection

Finally we have the Internet again. We have been having problems with the Internet keep breaking up while we were in the middle of doing things for some time. There were also problems with the telephone crackling a lot. We are with talk talk and eventually they agreed to send out the openreach team. It turns out there was a bit of water in the box on the pole that our wire is connected to and the wire had some damage. The wire has had a bit cut off and reconnected and so far all is well. Unfortunately fibre optic doesn't come anywhere near to where we are.
We are keeping our fingers crossed.

This happened to me as well, our underground box was full of water.

It had got so bad because the chamber is in a verge and it had overgrown with moss so we never knew it was there

Now its been found and serviced we haven't had a problem since

Glad you are back up and running Newcomer. It's only when you lose the internet you realise how much you use it.
