OMG - England pull ya braces up and ready for war?wot an insult and from sniveling Europe a land mass that we helped save from Hitler [together with allied forces] - memories are short indeed these days.

HiWW2 is distant history for many voters, it is simply not an issue for them.
Europe is moving to further integration, we have decided that it is not for us.
The EU Countries are determined to keep the Single Market, they will not change the rules to suit the UK.
Time to say goodbye, take a standard Free Trade Deal and move on.
If a Free Trade Deal is good enough for Canada, Japan and South Korea it should be good enough for us.
As regards the Irish Border, tough, we should not give in to blackmail.
We can and should explain to Ireland that if they continue to reject our proposals they will end up with a hard border and the end of the common travel area.
