Italy

Love the place. We have been to Sorrento ( twice ) Rome, Naples, Florence and Pisa. Just booked a four day tour to Venice and ten days in Sicily.
Anyone else been there?

Re: Italy

We've been to the Italian lakes about 12 times, Sorrento once, Florence once, the Italian Dolomites twice and the Italian Alps once. You could say we like Italy !

Re: Italy

Rome has been well and truly spoilt and is no longer magical so I tend to go for the smaller places like Gradara, Urbino, Gabicci Monte.

You could say that Alan We just love the place. The people, scenery, wine, food etc are really amazing.
The Amalfi coast is spectacular.
Anyone for a nice bowl of Pasta?

Re: Italy

Yes, several times. At the time Concorde went down I was on a 2 week coach tour around Italy. Have also stayed at Lake Como, visited Venice while on a cruise, visited Rome, Pisa, Florence, Sorrento, and the Amalfi coast drive, and the isle of Capri.

A beautiful country indeed.
