Dior advertising

So what do we all think about Dior using a 25 year old model to advertise anti wrinkle cream ? For goodness sake what does a 25 year old know about wrinkles !

Totally stupid I think.

When ever they show a youngster when trying to get you to buy things it always goes through my mind that they have good skin at that age of course its going to look shiny and new and blemish free.

Does not make me want to buy it.

It´s rather like magazines advertising clothes for the larger ladies using size 10 and 12 models. I guess many people fall for these ads, but they are silly.

Re: Dior advertising

Perhaps they couldn't get an older model, most mature women know anti wrinkle cream doesn't work

Re: Dior advertising

Their website says ... “corrects all visible signs of aging to reveal a radiant youthful beauty.”

Perhaps the young 25 year had prematurely aged, rough nights, booze binges.. the usual vices .. and they fixed her.
At 25 I could sometimes look a little rough and beaten up around the edges. Ah, I remember it well, those were the days.

I agree, clumsy. They do the same sort of thing with things like stair lifts and those bathing aids. Even if the ads show older people, they always use sprightly oldies, not anyone who genuinly struggles.

As for the Dior advert, it was in the paper yesterday, there a lot of people complaining about it apparently.
