Flu jab 2018 booked

Rather than use Deylon's thread which is mainly concerns her illness and having a flu jab or not, I thought it best to start a general new thread.

We received our flu jab letters this morning and are booked in to have them on 29th September.

Why oh why do you feel the need to have a flu vaccine thread every year. It's puerile.

And why oh why can't you leave people to post what they want to?
How is it hurting you?

I can not make up my mind about them, I have had 3 so far and last winter I felt awful choked up for several weeks. Are they worth it or not?

I always think prevention is better than cure, and being diabetic puts me more at risk so I will be having one.

I hope that Boots pharmacy are doing them this year, as so far, I have been able to just walk in and get one without an appointment.

No flu jabs for me, had them in the past and made me feel really unwell.
