Re: Home made dog biscuits
It's a bit chuck it in and see, I use two sweet potatoes and add everything else so I get a rollable dough. I don't measure they come out a bit different each time. Oddly the dogs don't mind one bit. Two potatoes makes three trays of biscuits using my smallest biscuit cutter which is a little under an inch and a half wide.Re: Home made dog biscuits
I make mine because I have one gluten free and the commercial ones are so expensive and my littlest needs a tiny biscuit which are quite hard to find unless I give her cat biscuits which the vet tells me aren't good for her. It's amazing the amount of sugar in some biscuits too.Re: Home made dog biscuits
The gluten free biscuits are really expensive and I don’t like all the added sugar either. Having an older Yorkie with missing teeth I’m often breaking up food for her so this might be ideal. Plus I really like the idea of using sweet potatoes for them. I’ve even got small little dog bone shaped cookie cutters in various sizes. If they turn out I’ll add a pic.Re: Home made dog biscuits
