Once you get a dog it wilL be up to you how you deal with it & it will respond accordingly.When we saw our dog 1st time I said No Way' he was thin ,scarred with sores on legs & stomach,he was so dejected ,just stood with head hung down,we were only able to touch him very gently on his head,hut my son said,hes depressed ,jut needs some 'TLC, he visited the home daily for over a week & finally we brought im home, he had to have his sores bathed every few days & slowly he improved,2+ years on he is slightly over weight,bright, alert, affectionate,playful,an entirely different dog to the 1 we 1st sawat the home ,he is devoted to,my son was right he just needed TLC
